Kicking off the new year with table tennis for defence and veteran families
Looking for a fun way to stay active and meet others these school holidays? Join us on Friday 9 January 2026 for a free table tennis session and lunch. This wellbeing activity will be facilitated by our Wellbeing Team and will feature movement, fun, laughter and good food.
It’s the perfect way to take a break, meet others who understand the unique journey of defence life, and focus on your wellbeing in a welcoming space during the school holidays.
Table tennis and lunch
This school holidays, war widows, defence and veteran families are warmly invited to come and try table tennis. Enjoy a 1 hour session at Table Tennis Collective, rackets and balls provided. All ages and skill levels are welcome. After the session, lunch will be provided at Brodburger, offering a great chance to connect, unwind, and build friendships within the veteran community.
Please wear sport shoes.
Parking is available, accessible via car park 4 (P4), behind Capital Brewing Co.
Previous attendees to wellbeing activities said “I really appreciate the opportunity to connect with such a supportive group. It was a perfect way to focus on self-care and make meaningful connections with others.”
