Everyone’s situation is unique, but our shared experience is what helps us relate to and support each other.
Membership options
We offer two membership options:
- Community membership
- Guild membership ($30 a year or $85 for three years)
Life members, WWII widows and volunteers will receive Guild Membership at no cost.

Frequently asked questions
What do Community Members receive?
Access to all core services and peer connection as outlined in the table on this page. It includes social work support, most wellbeing activities, newsletters, resources, online groups, Friendship Line and access to social clubs.
What do Guild Members receive?
Guild Members (previously known as financial members) will receive all core services outlined above, plus voting rights at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and in Board elections, subscription to The Guild Digest, access to member lunches, transport assistance (where eligible) and unlimited access to wellbeing activities. This category of membership is for widows and veteran families who want to actively support the Guild, help shape our direction and deepen their involvement.
Who receives Guild Membership at no cost?
Life Members, WWII widows and volunteers receive the full Guild Membership at no cost in recognition of their long-standing support and service to the organisation.
Do WWII and volunteers still need to send the renewal form?
Yes, if you are a WWII widow or a volunteer, we will need you to send us the renewal form each year. This is to ensure your membership and details are up to date in our system.
Is the free membership for WWII widows and volunteers available every year?
Yes, at this time we offer free membership to WWII widows and volunteers every year. We do need a renewal form sent out to us to ensure your membership and details are up to date in our system.
