Exploring the Museum of Contemporary Art for war widows, defence and veteran families
Museum of Contemporary Art
War widows, defence and veteran families are invited to come together for a relaxed and enriching walk through the Museum of Contemporary Art. This experience includes single entry to all MCA galleries and displays, excluding the current major exhibition, and offers the opportunity to explore the MCA Collection of national significance. The Collection features over 4,700 artworks acquired during the lifetimes of the artists represented, with a strong focus on artists living and working in Australia.
The Museum is a 6 minute walk from Circular Quay station, where public buses, trains, ferries and light rail services run regularly.
There is no cost for this activity. Your museum admission to the Museum of Contemporary Art will be covered by Families of Veterans Guild.
Previous attendees to wellbeing activities said “I just wanted to express my gratitude for being able to connect with such a wonderful group. It was such a great opportunity to do a self-care activity and get to know some of the other attendees at the same time.”
