On 30 August 2022 War Widows NSW welcomed Ms Tricia Hobson as the newly elected Chair of the Board of Directors.
Tricia has been on the Board of Directors since 2019 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Tricia is a partner at law firm DLA Piper and former partner at Norton Rose Fulbright. Tricia has worked within the insurance sector for over 25 years and is a globally recognised industry leader with extensive experience in claims, complex multi-party litigation, cross border disputes, investigations, and arbitrations.
Tricia is passionate about empowering women and dedicates her spare time to mentoring and coaching in service of causes close to her heart.
Former Chair of the Board Ms Jennifer Collins chose not to stand for election again, having completed two years in the role. Jennifer will remain on the Board and continue to serve as a Director.
Over the last two years the organisation has made significant progress under Jennifer’s leadership and guidance, we are very grateful for her dedication and service in the role of Chair.
