Experience sound immersion: free session for defence and veteran families
On Monday 18 May 2026, you’re invited to join us at Beefacres Community Hall for a free sound immersion session. This practice uses soothing instruments and mindful breathing to help you relax, restore balance and create a sense of calm.
It’s a simple way to pause, recharge and connect with others in a supportive environment. All you need to do is come along and enjoy the experience, everything else is taken care of by our Wellbeing Team.
Sound immersion session
Defence and veteran families are warmly invited to join us for a calming sound immersion session. Led by Chris from Harmonic Essence, this deeply relaxing sound bath uses a blend of gongs, singing bowls, chimes, drums, flute, and vocal toning to guide you into a meditative state that supports stress reduction, improved wellbeing, and deep rest. No experience needed, simply come along and relax in a comfortable position.
With over 30 years of musical experience and extensive training in sound healing, Chris creates a unique and restorative experience designed to calm the nervous system and leave you feeling refreshed and recharged. It’s also a chance to meet our team and connect with others who understand Defence life in a peaceful, welcoming setting.
There is no cost for this activity. Your sound healing session will be covered by Families of Veterans Guild.
Previous attendees to wellbeing activities said “The sound immersion session was a wonderful way to unwind, deeply relax, and reconnect with myself.”
