Veteran family dinner at Pirate Life Brewing for defence and veteran families
On Friday 27 March, we’re hosting our very first wellbeing activity in Adelaide, and we’re pleased to be bringing families of current and former ADF members, including war widows together in person for a shared dinner. Facilitated by our Wellbeing Team, this evening is about creating space to connect, check in, and spend time with others who understand the realities of defence and veteran family life.
This dinner marks an important step in extending our wellbeing activities to South Australia, and we look forward to meeting local war widows, defence and veteran families as we continue to grow our community.
Veteran family dinner
Defence and veteran families are warmly invited to join us for dinner at Pirate Life Brewing. This evening marks our very first wellbeing activity for families held in the state, and we’re excited to bring the community together in person.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to share a meal in a relaxed setting, meet some of our team in person, connect with others who understand the unique experiences of Defence and veteran family life. Whether you’re hoping to meet new people or simply enjoy a night out, we’d love to see you there.
There is no cost for this activity. Your dinner will be covered by Families of Veterans Guild.
Previous attendees to wellbeing activities said “I really appreciate the opportunity to connect with such a supportive group. It was a perfect way to focus on self-care and make meaningful connections with others.”
