We’ve only just started a new month and there’s so much to share with each of you. Firstly, I want to thank each of our Friendship Line Volunteers who have risen to the herculean task of Volunteering from Home. Your support to our Members, far and wide is so critical at this time. In partnering with Western Sydney University, we aim to connect with all our Country Members and support them as best we can. Covid-19 has certainly allowed us to create new ways of connecting. The Younger War Widows are creating new experiences including hosting online parties!
I hope you enjoy reading this week\’s newsletter, in which we continue to recognise our veterans. We also celebrate all 164 members who had their birthday in May. Five members turned 100 years old, what an achievement!
