Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Our next AGM will be hosted on 27 August 2025 at the Pullman Sydney Airport, Mascot.
We welcomed members attendance from 10am for morning tea prior to the commencement of the meeting.
A light lunch followed the meeting for members.

Register for our next Annual General Meeting
Our members are invited to join our next AGM that will take place on 27 August 2025.
Please note, this is an exclusive event for members of Australian War Widows NSW Ltd, trading as Families of Veterans Guild’s only.
Due to the location of the AGM this year, we can support members with taxi vouchers to and from the AGM location from Central Station in Sydney. Please let us know if this will be required at registration. We also ask our members to travel in groups of 2 or 4 where possible.
Members within Sydney may be eligible for funded travel under our Transport Policy.
If you are unsure about your travel needs, let us know at registration and someone will contact you to discuss.
If you wish to be more involved in our organisation and AGM, you are welcome to become a member.
Nominations for Board Directors - 2025
At the 2025 AGM, two elected positions become available on the Board of Directors. Both positions are currently held by Directors who are eligible for their second term on the Board.
These positions on the Board of Directors are to be elected by the members and nominations are now open.
In order for a nomination to be valid, it must be made by two financial members of the company at the time of making the nomination and the nominee must accept the nomination.
How to nominate
Review the nominations pack here and complete the nomination form.
Nominees must be nominated by two financial members of the Company.
Nominees must complete the “Candidate Information” section of the nomination form and submit by no later than close of business FRIDAY 11 July 2025.

Notice of Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given to all current members that the Annual General Meeting of Australian War Widows NSW Limited, now trading as the Families of Veterans Guild will be held on WEDNESDAY 27 AUGUST 2025. The Annual General Meeting for 2025 will be held in person convened at the Pullman Sydney Airport, 191 O’Riordan St, Mascot.
Members Questions Form
Members who would like to ask questions of the Board at the Annual General Meeting are invited to complete this form and submit their questions in writing to the Company Secretary, PO Box 146, Chatswood NSW 2057 by 5.00pm AEST on DATE TBC. While each question may not be responded to individually, a response will be given to as many of the frequently asked questions as possible at the Annual General Meeting and those answers will be published in the 2025 Spring Digest.
Board Elections
At the close of nominations on 11 July 2025, the Company Secretary received a total of XXXX nominations for XXXX Board positions.
As a result, an election must be held. In accordance with custom and practice, this will occur through postal ballot. Board information and candidates profiles can be found below.
