The board’s role

Our directors are accountable to the members of the organisation. They are required to provide annual audited accounts and a report of the organisation’s activities to the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC), in addition to providing access to the latest annual audited report.

Information about the organisation’s finances and activities, and governance documents are publicly available on the organisations’ ACNC profile.

While the organisation retains the position of State President, this position isn’t akin to Board chair, it is a ceremonial and symbolic position which focused on undertaking representational duties for the Board for example at commemorative events or engaging with members.
