South Australian war widows & veteran families
Welcome to the Families of Veterans Guild: supporting South Australian war widows & veteran families
A new chapter for war widows and veteran families in South Australia
The Families of Veterans Guild is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting war widows, partners, children, and families of veterans (current and former serving). We provide advocacy, connection, social work and wellbeing support programs for all defence and veteran families, including war widows.
What does this mean for War Widows SA members?
- Continued connection: Local South Australian war widows will keep meeting with support from our team and local volunteers.
- Access to services: All SA war widows and veteran families can join our online activities and access our social work services, including wellbeing support, advocacy, and information.
- Membership: If you were a member of War Widows SA, your membership can transition to the Guild. Life Members will retain their status. There are no fees for your first year of membership with us from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.
