We understand we continue to live in a difficult environment.  As always, the welfare of our Members is our top priority, and should you be concerned about anything please contact the office as we are here to support you.

As a result of COVID-19 we must exercise caution when organising events. Due to this, the Board of Directors has decided to go ahead with the AGM on Thursday 27 August 2020 at 10am.  The AGM will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. The reasons for using a digital platform to hold the AGM are as follows:

1. Virtual meetings have been identified as in the ‘lowest risk’ category for individuals wanting to attend meetings.
2. Due to current health guidelines in place by the NSW Government, we are not able to accommodate members’ safety in the meeting and via transport.
3. NSW Health advises that elderly people remain at a higher risk for severe complications arising from COVID-19. As a result, we have adapted our meeting format accordingly.

If you have any questions regarding these instructions please call our office and we will do our very best to assist you.

Please note: Only Financial Members can vote at the AGM.

While we certainly rise by lifting others, equally we appreciate being lifted by others! The pandemic has certainly brought home the value of support for each other. We need to know that a Crime Prevention Officer will respond when we call. It is also wonderful to share the news of members celebrating 100th birthdays.

While I can’t meet all of you, you are always welcome to contact me or the office at any time to express both your concerns and good wishes, as we all work together.
